Cinnamon Bay’s historic loop is one of St. John’s easiest ways to combine plantation history with a short forest walk. The National Park Service says the 0.5-mile loop passes ruins from the former Cinnamon Bay Sugar Plantation.

Visitors can see masonry ruins, walls, a well and other structures connected with the plantation landscape.

The ruins belong to a plantation system built on enslaved labor. Read the NPS interpretation rather than treating the site only as scenic stonework.
