Updated August 2026: Bonaire remains at Level 1: Exercise Normal Precautions. The island is excellent for shore diving and snorkeling, but travelers should still secure valuables, take care at remote coastal access points, respect marine-park rules and use caution on rough roads and rocky water entries.
