Trafalgar Falls is one of Dominica’s easiest major waterfall experiences: two large cascades rise above the rainforest near Roseau, reached by a short maintained path.
Discover Dominica says the main viewing platform is about a 10–15 minute walk from the visitor area.
What makes it special
The two falls are commonly called the Mother and Father Falls. Geothermal activity in the valley also creates warm-water features nearby, reinforcing the volcanic character of the landscape.
Swimming and scrambling
Conditions beyond the main viewpoint can be slippery and change after heavy rain. Do not assume that because visitors are climbing boulders or entering pools that it is safe that day.
